Information about Cakes 4 Delivery


Order Information

All our cakes are made to order.  We guarantee every cake leaves our premises in perfect condition. Please ensure you have read our Terms and Conditions before placing an order. If you have nay questions please contact us directly prior to placing your order.

Please place your order for your cake at least 7 days before it is required (this is the minimum amount of time required to meet your deadline) and request the delivery date to be at least one day prior to when the cake is required.  Please consider busy times and weather conditions when placing your orders. =

If you do need your cake sooner than the available delivery date you can contact us directly.  On occasions we may be able to assist at short notice but cannot guarantee this.  We will always try our best for our customers whenever possible.


Delivery Information

We offer a FREE UK Delivery service.

When placing your order you must select a delivery date. All deliveries are made by UPS.  Delivery for all UK orders will be made on a next day service which is offered Monday to Friday for UK mainland.  We will make every effort to dispatch orders in time for the specified delivery date, however, once your parcel is in the hands of the carrier we have no control over the delivery process and cannot accept liability for any late deliveries. If delivery does not take place on the specified date, no refund shall be given. We always recommend at least one day in advance to receive your delivery from the date required.  At times of extreme weather conditions this must be taken in to account and extra days may be required to ensure delivery in time.

All items require a signature. If nobody is available to receive the parcel the UPS driver may attempt to deliver the parcel to a neighbour. Otherwise, a card will be left with details of how to arrange re-delivery or collection from the local depot. The responsibility is with the customer to arrange redelivery or collection and we cannot accept liability for late delivery, non collection or if goods become unsuitable due to non-delivery and therefore no refunds shall be given. On most occasions a missed delivery due to no person being able to sign for the parcel will be redelivered on the next working day, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Should any item be returned to us after an unsuccessful delivery attempt any additional charges for redelivery must be paid by the customer.

During periods of industrial action by postal workers or severe weather disruption, items sent by post are subject to delay and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.  Deliveries are not made on Saturdays,Sundays or Public Holidays within the UK.

It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that the delivery address is completed correctly when placing your order. No refunds shall be given for late or non-delivery of items due to incorrect delivery addresses. We reserve the right to send your item by 1st Class Recorded if you have not provided us with a correct address to send the item by UPS Next day service.

Cancellation and Refunds

We hope you will be completely satisfied with your purchase but if you are unhappy with your cake for any reason you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt.  Any replacement products, refunds or compensation will be considered, and may be offered at our discretion. We will require evidence of any damage, which must be received by us within 7 days of the original delivery. This evidence may be in the form of photographs, or by returning the goods to us, unused and must include the original packaging. When sending back any item the responsibility for the goods and delivery costs is yours.

All cakes are made to order and personalised to your requirements. Cancellations can only be made on the day the order was placed. However, should you need to change your order details please contact us as soon as possible.  We will always try to assist in any way but this cannot be guaranteed due to time scales.

Payment Information

Payment must be made in advance, before any goods are prepared or dispatched. We accept visa, mastercard, switch, solo, visa delta and visa electron and uses secure payment systems.  Full payment will be taken at the time of ordering.  A full receipt will be despatched with the cake unless you contact us directly.
